Yangming ShuwuThis place was for a time used by former President Chiang Kai-shek as a site to meet local and foreign dignitaries and as a summer villa. Today it is one of the most important cultural-historical sites within Yangmingshan National Park, with both information materials and guide services available to visitors. This is a restful spot that offers both nature and culture, intellectual and visual nurture to those that come.

 1. Take bus 260, Red 5, 230 to Yangmingshan stop.
   Walk through the visitor center ( 0.6 km ) and then along the pathway to Zhongxing Rd
   ( 0.6 km ), then turn left down to Yangming Shuwu ( 0.8 km )
 2. Take the Royal Bus Taipei-Jinshan Line, Yangmingshan shuttle bus, or S9 (shuttle) to
   Yangming Shuwu stop (Meteorological Observatory stop), and then walk straight ahead
   into Zhongxing Rd. toward Yangming Shuwu ( 0.8 km )

Chung Shan HallChung Shan Hall us located within Yangmingshan National Park, designed and built by famed architect Xiu Ze-lan. Long used for National Assembly gatherings, it was also used by the Premier to receive foreign dignitaries and for state banquets. Today it is a precious national cultural asset open to the public.

Chiang Kai-shek Shilin Residence Suggested Duration:1hr
Chiang Kai-shek Shilin ResidenceThis heritage site provides a glimpse into the lives of the former first family, and its role as a key site in the building of the ROC on Taiwan. The complex includes the main residence, reception building, Ciyun Pavilion, Kaige Hall, all registered historical relics. The style of the main building is one of simple lines, featuring a slanted roof, with wood and reinforced concrete used. The various structures sit within sprwalig landscaped gardens, making this a popular destination for both nature and culture appreciation.

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Suggested Duration:1hr
Chiang Kai-shek Memorial HallThis memorial hall, which soars 70 meters high, was created in memory of former President Chiang Kai-shek. To left and right in front of the hall are the Chinese palace-style National Theater and National Concert Hall. The three structures face a large plaza and are surrounded sprawling Chinese-style gardens outlines by a framing wall and corridor. The site is one of Taipei ' s most popular, for both local citizens and tourists.
