Yipin Shanxi Sliced Noodles has earned a loyal following for its delicious, healthy and reasonably priced hand-sliced noodle creations. Founded on Yongkang Street, the restaurant opened a branch in Taipei's Tianmu area in 1997. The specialty of the house is tomato beef noodles made with stewed whole tomatoes and incredibly chewy noodles sliced as you watch by a master of the art. Other popular menu items include old-style noodles with soybean paste, fried meat pies, flaky pancakes, fried shredded pancakes, and chow mein.
