Opened in 2008, the Nangang Exhibition Hall of the Taipei World Trade Center is the first locally-designed international show venue in Taiwan. About 2,600 exhibit booths can be fitted into the hall, which rises seven floors above ground and two below. The hall is divided into two show areas and can be arranged into three separate areas to simultaneously host up to six events. The column-free hall on the fourth floor is the size of about 3.5 football pitches and has a cathedral-like ceiling. This venue is exceptionally well suited for large-scale functions, concerts, performances and sports events. On the fourth and fifth floors there are four conference rooms that can be arranged into 12 separate meeting spaces and accommodate 1,860 people.
