Located at the corner of Keelung Road and Sinyi Road, Exhibition Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center is easy to spot with its modern pink-tiled exterior, stepped, building-block style design, and pyramid plaza. The hall is divided into two areas, including a seven-floor exhibition space. Since 1986, the hall has mirrored the industrial development of Taiwan as a major venue for all kinds of trade shows, making it one of Asia's premier places to do business.
The hall can accommodate 1,304 exhibit booths on the first floor and 250 booths on the second floor. It is also connected to Taipei 101 by a skybridge. Exhibition Hall 1 hosts over 25 international trade shows about 60 other exhibition events each year, attracting about a million visitors. The hall also has been a boon for other businesses in the vicinity and served as a pillar of Taiwan's industrial growth.
